In just over a couple of weeks, the lighter evenings will be here and spring Daffodils will start to bloom, ready to decorate our beautiful Swansea Bay in anticipation of the Easter Bunny’s arrival. Swansea Bay is the perfect place to spend your Easter holidays, and with our help, you’re sure to have an Easter to remember!
Get out and about this school holiday, and make the most of the flowers beginning to bloom across Swansea Bay. Challenge the family to a game of mini golf in Southend Gardens, before riding in style on the Swansea Bay Rider Land Train whilst taking in a scenic view of our magnificent bay.
Easter 2018 will mark the seasonal opening of Oystermouth Castle on 1 April, and this year the castle has a jam-packed events programme, starting with an Easter Egg Hunt and Crafty Fun on the first day of the 2018 summer season!
Man Engine Cymru
On April 12, at the final stage of his Wales tour, the Man Engine will arrive in Swansea for a celebration of 300 years of copper smelting. There’ll also be an after dark extravaganza at Hafod Morfa Copperworks, where the Man Engine will feed the furnaces with Welsh coal as sparks fly and fires roar – don’t miss out and book your tickets here!
If you’re beginning to regret buying that third Easter Egg for your little ones, as they bounce around the house, why not let them burn off some sugar in your local Active Swansea Leisure Centre? With Junior Holiday Programmes full of everything from football to fun float sessions, gymnastics to Us Girls camps, there’s bound to be something to get your little one up and moving this Easter.
But it’s not just Easter that we’re preparing for at Enjoy Swansea Bay! Coming up soon…
