Swansea’s Christmas Market will kick-start your festive spirit when it opens on Friday 16 November. Santa will be setting up home in his grotto on Portland Street on Saturday 17 November and the Christmas lights will burst into life on Sunday 18 November. The shops will be full of Christmas gifts and decorations. And of course, a Swansea Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a few shopping trips to the iconic Swansea Market.

At the heart of the City Centre and serving shoppers throughout the year, is the magnificent Swansea Market. Under its mighty dome, Swansea Market traders offer a warm welcome, a festive atmosphere and the tastiest, freshest of foods for your Christmas feast.
Late night Christmas Shopping
There’s late night shopping in the City Centre in the run up to Christmas making it easier to shop to your hearts content.
Step into Christmas at Santa’s Grotto. The man in the big red suit will be at his colourful cabin in Portland Street daily, from 17 November to 23 December, to listen to children’s wishes and spread some Christmas cheer!
