“Honest, beautiful and bewitching…a triumph”
Arts Wing
Luna Rossa bring their stunning 21st century acoustica to Swansea this November, as part of a major UK tour to promote their new studio album.
Luna Rossa are Anne-Marie Helder and Jonathan Edwards – the same award-winning song-writing team behind the epic rock anthems of Panic Room.
Luna Rossa originally began life as a ‘little sister’ project….a chilled-out side-room, where the duo could express their more intimate and acoustic song ideas.
But since the huge critical success of their debut album in 2013 (Sleeping Pills & Lullabies), and its breath-taking sequel (Secrets & Lies),
Luna Rossa have smashed all expectations by becoming one of the most popular, exciting and highly-respected groups on the international acoustic scene today.
With their vibrant use of pure instrumentation – piano, guitar, celtic harp and voice – plus the addition of 21st Century loops, rhythms and samples, Luna Rossa have created a unique new world of sound.
Their music is at once beautiful, timeless, dramatic, fresh and utterly compelling.
Helder & Edwards are both based in Swansea, but their touring commitments usually keep them away from home.
This exclusive show at the Grand will be the first time they have played live in the city for several years, so it will be a celebration on many levels –
of music, of life, of success, and of coming back home.
Luna Rossa will be joined on stage by special guest Sarah Dean (Celtic Harp & harmony vocals).
Tickets: £15.00
