The Swansea Fringe returns this October, and Swansea Council is bringing a special screening of The Greatest Showman on the Big Screen in Castle Square plus so much more for the whole family!
Discover the story of P.T. Barnum (Hugh Jackman) and his life as a circus and museum entrepreneur through this award winning musical. Get ready to sing along!
Don’t miss this immersive, outdoor cinema experience! And that’s not all, as there will be delicious street food and exciting circus performances, both from 4pm.
With two free outdoor showings of the film, on the 5th and 6th October, you’ll have ample chance to catch this stellar, all-singing, all-dancing movie extravaganza in an interactive experience for all the family. Get your top hats on and start warming up those vocal chords! And best of all – it’s completely FREE!

- Street Food Market (top of Castle Square – adjacent to Castle Bailey Street) 4-8pm
- Showing of the Greatest Showman (Big Screen) & interactive performances from 5.45pm
- Circus entertainment 4-8pm
Circus Entertainment
Performers from The Mark Jermin Stage School will be donning the Greatest Showman Style to help get everyone involved, and there will also be a Greatest Showman Medley from The Natalie Salter Dance School! All this as well as an acrobatic duo, and all working under the Circus Ringmaster on stilts – it’s going to be a PT Barnum Swansea Spectacle!
