Summer has come to Swansea, and what better way to enjoy the sun than with refreshing drinks and great food with your friends? Well good news – the German Bierfest is coming to Museum Park, Swansea on 3 – 6 August! You’ll be able to explore the German Village, enjoy a drink in the open air Bier Garden and book your seat in the Bavarian FestTent for a great night of entertainment!
German Village and Bier Garden
The Bierfest is about more than just beer! You’ll also find the German Village, with authentic wooden alpine huts selling everything from Bratwurst to German products. It’s even perfect for families, with the FunTime Area providing great traditional German fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
In the open air Bier Garden, enjoy the selection of three specially brewed Bavaria Festbeer Brewery beers, including the Bavarian Weissbeer, Festbier and Crafbier. There’s even gluten free beer! And don’t worry – if beer’s not your thing, there’s a wide range of cider, wine and soft drinks available too. Sit back, relax and enjoy a drink with friends in the summer sun!
Delicious German Food
It’s not just refreshing drinks in store at the German Bierfest Swansea, with a range of authentic, delicious food from Germany and Austria available throughout the weekend. With fresh Brezel, Bratwurst, Schnitzel, Hendl, Schweinebraten, vegetarian options and much more there’s something for everyone!
The Bavarian FestTent is where the real party takes place! In the evenings (and Saturday afternoon) settle down on the rows of traditional benches and enjoy the live DJ show, dancefloor, waiters in Lederhosen and more. Enjoy some steins, some songs and some schnitzel, with what’s sure to be a night to remember!
The German Village, FunTime Area and open air Bier Garden are non-ticketed areas and are free to enter. Entry to the Bavarian FestTent is the only part of the German Bierfest that requires a ticket, with a variety of price options available. But with only a limited number of seats available, tickets are selling fast!
