There’ll be a Masterchef Finalist; Great British Bake-Off Winner plus top chefs from local hotels; all showcasing what they do best over the 2 days and part of the Croeso event at Castle Square on 1st and 2nd March
Sophie Faldo, Great British Bake Off Winner 2017 will be part of the Friday line-up. She has appeared on Lorraine, various Radio shows and has been published in The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, The Irish Independent, The Mail on Sunday, OK magazine, The Radio Times, Delicious magazine and numerous others. She also regularly demos at regional and national food shows including The Ideal Home Show at Olympia. Sophie is currently appearing as a presenter in the adventure food and travel show, Travel With A Goat. She will appear on the Friday with Head Chef from the Village Hotel and Hywel Griffith from The Beach House.
Saturday 1st march will see cookery demonstrations from Great British Bake Off 2018 contestant Jon Jenkins who won the hearts of thousands of viewers during the GBBO series earlier this year. Not only did he become known for being a proud Welshman, baking a variety of Welsh bakes most weeks, he also demonstrated his love of loud Hawaiian shirts, by wearing a different shirt each week, including a Christmas themed Hawaiian shirt, starring Santa in a grass skirt.
The Saturday also welcomes Masterchef Finalist 2017 Imran Nathoo, Katie Davies from Mary Berry’s Britain Best Home Cook 2018 as well as Anthony Evans from Stwffio on S4C. Food writer for Swansea life magazine and Chanel 4s My kitchen rules finalist Sian Day will also be at the event cooking up some really great home cooking using the best of Welsh.
All the cookery demonstrations start at 11am and go on until 4pm, make sure you pop-along, get some inspiration and enjoy the free cookery demonstrations on offer as part of Croeso 2019.

There’ll also be stalls located along Oxford Street exhibiting delicious homemade produce from traders.
