A visit to Swansea’s Christmas Market will kick-start your festive spirit and if that doesn’t do it, a trip to see Santa himself surely will. Running until Thursday 20 December, over 40 talented crafters, traders and street food vendors will be offering a fantastic variety of unique gifts, tempting treats and beautiful decorations. If you’re looking for that special something make sure you visit the jewellers, photographers, glass makers and ceramic artists along Oxford Street and Princess Way.
Children will love the beautiful hand crafted personalised gifts, sweet treats and a ride on the carousel, whilst food and drink lovers will certainly appreciate the craft toffee vodka, hand-made chocolates, fine wines and cheeses.
Festive food favourites will be on offer, plus some delicious continental cuisine and the Bavarian bar, a cosy cabin where you can relax with a mulled wine or a stein of German beer.
Some chalets will host a selection of new traders each week, so you’ll be sure to find something different on each visit and get your shopping list ticked off in no time!
The Christmas Market is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00am to 5.00pm on Sunday.

A Special Visit to Santa
Santa will be taking up residence in his Grotto on Portland Street from 17 November to 23 December to grant Christmas wishes and spread festive cheer to the children of Swansea. Each child receives a gift and there’s a lovely photo opportunity too!
