Manic Street Preachers
One of the UK’s most successful bands in recent memory, the Welsh rockers will be taking to the stage at the Liberty Stadium later in May. Their biggest Welsh headline show since ’99, the Manic Street Preachers will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Everything Must Go. They will also be supported by the Super Furry Animals & Public Service Broadcasting.
Bowie tribute
David Bowie may have sadly passed away recently, but he lives on in Ultimate Bowie. The show pays tribute to the work of this global super-star, in a show that is visually stunning and vocally impressive
BBC NOW
A regular feature of the Brangwyn’s events calendar, BBC National Orchestra of Wales hold monthly concerts showcasing some of the finest performers and performances in classical music. Next up, Mahler 1 with Søndergård
Jazz fest
The Swansea International Jazz Festival returns this June! The Maritime quarter will be filled with some of the biggest names in the world Jazz scene, along with local and up and coming stars performing throughout the weekend. The annual event, now in it’s 3rd year, continues to get bigger and better.
Gwalia Singers
There’s tremendous local talent on offer this year too, with the Gwalia singers celebrating their 50th anniversary with this very special concert. Formed in 1966, this promises to be a truly emotional occasion.
Proclaimers
How far would you walk to see The Proclaimers? Well it doesn’t have to be 500 miles, because they’re coming to Swansea Grand Theatre this June!
Lionel Richie
Global superstar Lionel Richie will be saying “Hello” to the Liberty Stadium this June. Part of his ‘All the Hits – Live’ tour, it promises just that, so fans of Richie both young and old can look forward to an evening of all of his greatest songs!
Mugeyenko drummers
There really is a diverse selection of music on offer in Swansea this year, the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers come to Swansea Grand Theatre this June. As the most successful touring taiko drum group on this continent, experience the power of thundering rhythms on huge taiko drums, mysterious masked choreography, synchronisation timed to perfection, post-apocalyptic martial imagery & infectious humour – all in a spellbinding display of sheer energy.

International Festival
The Swansea International Festival returns to once again showcase some of the best of arts and music the world has to offer. With performances throughout the week in various locations, with everything from international classical orchestras to local folk groups, this ever popular event promises to offer something for everyone
Christy Moore
As he turns 70 later in the year, Christy marks his 50th year on the road with this celebratory concert at the Brangwyn. He will be joined on stage by Declan Sinnott on guitar and Jim Higgins on percussion.
Songbook collective
Steve Cradock from Ocean Colour Scene and the members of the Paul Weller band join together for only a handful of UK dates (and only one in Wales!) to play an exclusive selection of songs from their own projects and classic tracks from Paul Weller, Ocean Colour Scene, The Moons and many more. A unique opportunity to see these world class musicians in an intimate concert.
Katherine Jenkins
A very special homecoming Christmas concert from star Kathryn Jenkins, it promises to be the perfect Christmas present as Kathryn and guests bring in the festive period in style.
Noel Gallagher
A key member of one of the biggest British bands of all time, Noel Gallagher brings his High Flying Birds to Singleton Park this September. With support from Gaz Coombes, Frightened Rabbit and Pretty Vicious, this will be one of the biggest concerts of the year!
