Spooks in the City returns to Swansea on Saturday 26th October for a Monsters’ Ball packed with 10 monster attractions full of family fun, and it’s completely FREE!
1: Jermin Productions Pop-up Stage: 11am – 4pm at Portland Street
The terrific talent of Jermin Productions will be presenting a full schedule of monstrous entertainment for you to enjoy.
2: The Wave Pop-up Stage: 11am – 4pm at Castle Square
Be sure to visit Castle Square for a ‘fangtastic’ programme of entertainment featuring performances from local singers, dancers and more.
3: Mystery Machine and Scooby Doo Characters: 11am – 4pm at Castle Square
Scooby Doo where are you? You won’t have to look far because he’ll be in Swansea’s Castle Square. Why not get a selfie? But, be sure to bring some scooby-snacks!

4: Hide and Peek with the Monsters: 11am – 4pm
Collect clues at Portland Street and Castle Square and hunt down the monsters hiding in the city centre. You could win a prize!
5: Monster Balloon Modelling 11am – 4pm at Portland Street
Make your very own monster out of balloons – be careful with those fangs!
6: Monster Mash Street Games: 11am – 4pm at Oxford Street
It’s sports day for monsters! How fast can your little monsters run?
7: Monster Makeover Station: 11am – 4pm at Castle Square
Get your faces painted and become a real-life monster!
8: Monsters’ Photo Point: 11am – 4pm at Castle Square
Strike a pose and growl at the camera in the pop-up photo booth. Even monsters like a selfie!
9: Monster Mash Flash Mobs: 12.15pm, 2pm and 3.15pm at various locations
Bust some monster moves to the monster groove and do the mash, the Monster Mash. It’s sure to be a Swansea smash!

10: Spooky Story Time with the Monster Queen: 12pm, 2.30pm and 3pm at Oxford Street
Hop aboard the Halloween Ghost Train, parked up in Oxford Street (outside Sporets Direct), for a lively telling of spooky tales for children, such as ‘Room on a Broom’, with Swansea’s Monster Queen.
