Not going abroad this summer? It doesn’t matter – you can experience a tropical climate right on your doorstep in Plantasia.
You won’t find many rainforests in the UK, but here in Swansea, we are lucky enough to have one right in the city centre! A unique indoor tropical haven, Plantasia boasts a breath-taking display of plants and animals. If you are beginning to struggle for ideas to keep the kids entertained over the summer holidays, why not take them along to experience this incredible environment, where they can learn all about many fascinating species which call the rainforest home.
It’s also a great time to visit to see the breadfruit tree, which has started fruiting again for the first time in 25 years.
