As we are fast approaching the halfway mark of Clyne in Bloom 2017, we thought it would be nice to share some snaps from the gardens to give you an idea of how spectacular they are in bloom, as well as throughout the year!
The gardens are appreciated by many, from near and afar, and are the perfect place to stretch your legs along the myriad of pathways leading to secret hideouts, marvel at Swansea Bay in its entirety, with views to Port Talbot, Porthcawl and beyond – or simply sit back and enjoy the aromas of the azaleas.
This week, we are pleased to have an extract from an avid Clyne Gardens devotee, Ann Middleton, who is privileged to make the most of the gardens not just in bloom, but all year round:
“Clyne has a magical quality which we have used all year long. From misty cold mornings to wild blustery days and balmy afternoons. I find myself transfixed sometimes by the colour, which assaults your senses from the emergence of the bluebells, the rhododendrons to the astonishing array of flowering shrubs and trees. Bonnie, my spaniel is in 7th heaven exploring the undergrowth and seeking out long flown birds. I am so lucky to live so near to one of the wonders of Wales.”

Don’t forget, we have musical performances every Sunday in Clyne Gardens, with free entry and light refreshments available.
We look forward to you joining us for a cake and a cuppa next Sunday at the tea tent!
